In partnership with the Jewish Community Foundation, Pardes Jewish Day School is positioning itself to receive a share of the estimated $59 trillion wealth transfer projected to take place in the United States by 2052. Pardes is a participant in LIFE & LEGACY, a multi-year partnership program between the Jewish Community Foundation and the Harold Grinspoon Foundation that promotes end-of-lifetime giving to Jewish day schools, synagogues, social service organizations, and other Jewish entities.
Through training, support and cash incentives, LIFE & LEGACY motivates Jewish organizations to secure legacy gifts, steward donors, and integrate legacy giving into the charitable culture of the Jewish community. Between the program’s national launch and December 31, 2015, twenty-three participating communities representing 289 organizations have secured more than 8,000 legacy commitments with an estimated future value exceeding $329 million!
